Johnny’s practice is based on his grandfather’s guidance to even the scales of justice for the underserved.

Johnny was born into a family of lawyers in Cincinnati, Ohio. He earned his B.A. in History, summa cum laude, from Tulane University before going home to attend the University of Cincinnati College of Law, where he was a published member of the University of Cincinnati Law Review and graduated magna cum laude.

Over his career, Johnny has appeared in state and federal courts at both the trial and appellate levels. He has perpetually fought for the rights of his neighbors, whether they were facing divorce, eviction, criminal charges, business disputes, or other legal challenges. He works with his clients as a team to pursue their goals, and has been praised not only for his zealous legal advocacy, but his compassion and responsiveness to his clients’ concerns.

Johnny opened John D. Holschuh III, Esq. P.L.L.C. in 2026 as a community-oriented law firm providing high-quality and affordable legal services for the individuals, families, and small businesses of southern Colorado.
